I was extremely lucky enough to register in time for the free AIGA workshop event Moving from Print to Web at Noble Desktop, a computer graphics training studio in Soho that often offers FREE seminars on various design topics - please go check out the availability and register! I have to say, this was completely hands down one of the most useful, sensible, and informative workshop that I have ever attended in my whole life - Daniel Rodney is such a god savvy presenter it makes anonymous people like me proud to be a geek. And a keep in mind tip for the future: leave work early enough to snag a good seat - the place was packed with floor sitters and innocent bystanders in the back of the room! It was cozy. I also want to point out that the crowd for this print->web workshop was mostly in the 30-40 years old range scattered with spongelike newb designers and hungry students. And I was actually really glad to see more seasoned seniors attend this workshop to upgrade themselves from their old ways of thinking about design, programs, promotion, branding, etcetcetc. I want to buy the whole CS4 package now :( and learn to use Fireworks ... next paycheck. After my dSLR.
As I walked over from Bleeker St station, I passed by a Vitamin Water pop up shop. The lady at the door told me they're launching the grand opening April 3 - I guess I'll have to drop when I look for shoes then!

Saw this a while ago on Broadway - not so cool kids <3 origami.

Finally went shopping - here is how what Vitamin Water 10 looks like inside. All drinks and activities are FREE.

This awesome "watertender" let us go back to take a picture with him at the "open bar."

I tried the berry XXX and it was like diet VW... no good :/ ... but this 10 display was a 10 though!

Along with foos, there's also a Wii station, photobooth, and a playful window girl.
