Recently opened up to public, Target sponsored a great street festival at the elevated High Line park today!

I can't get over the uncontrollable excitement that washes inside me whenever I walk on cobblestone roads in NYC. It's just impossible to not feel like it's plain dandy fun to walk on bricks stuck in the floor! It is also entertaining to watch girls with heels get stuck a little, trip a few times, and die.

This is the largest lemonade stand ever in the world... it doesn't look very big in this picture, but it was the size of a real water tank. And also, check out that weird white embryo balloon thing in the back against the wall of that building... I still don't know what exactly it is, but I like it sticking around and hanging on there.

The complimentary lemonade was NOT crappy, and it definitely HIT the spot!! Ah, the cups are compostable - I didn't notice that when I was sipping on it merrily down the streets. Besides booths of activities for kids and things, there were...

gentlemen singing...

a child taking picture with weird springy creatures...

a pony-horse and a cowboy...

and... a sea monster?
And did I mention gyrating shrimp?

I'm guessing I missed the fun earlier when there was watermelon being chomped on?

High Line used to be a rail line in the 1930's to carry freight trains, but it has gone through a makeover to be a very chill, take a stroll and take in the sights type of park... open daily 7am-10pm!

There were SO many people at the festival. It was like lining up for Six Flags Great Adventure to get up to High Line. But the line went relatively okay/fast. This pic above makes us looks like we're in jail recess.

This is the hardcore line that stretched a few blocks.

Bright yellow chairs.

Up top, there was also a section with spa-like wooden recline benches. Best for laying.

When exiting, I realized I would've never seen many things about the city if I had stayed downstairs...

like this crazy crop circle of a graffiti done on a rooftop.
