The post where I don't like ANYTHING.

It all started when I got this UFO noodle bowl from JAS mart. This was actually really delicious, and the packaging inside was really functional and smart too to drain the noodles and mix in the sauce and seaweed seasoning. I won't spoil it for you, just go grab a few home and eat it!

Japan Fair was 15 blocks or so in length, but only ONE block sold the "real" Japanese food... that is just lame. I don't know how else to emphasize. All other booths on the other 14 streets were like regular street fairs of American stock... like lemonade, CDs, and dresses.

I bought this butterfly ring for $2 and it lasted me 2 hours. Ironic because real butterflies have a 2 week lifespan.

Can't not have the freaks running around. Cute!

This guy's on youtube somewhere. You might even catch him wiggling around in subway stations.

Mochi pounding and the results - red bean, green tea, and peanut buttery delish-ness!

Then went off to Brooklyn to check out a HAE event for a pop up store in Brooklyn. I've actually been to another event hosted at the actual Harriet's Alter Ego store about a year ago which was awesome with street art, music, merchandise, food, and Nuvo drinks. But this particular BK Pop event reminded me more of a ghetto flea market showroom than an actual pop up store event - I was very disappointed and expected so much more from what they were marketing in their promos and invites. I hope the next one is better put together because I actually really like the vibe of Society HAE and what they're about.

wow 50 cents is a steal - I bet you the vending machine's empty though haha.

Nice graf.

I think I am on a "unliking" rampage because this carousel was stupid too! It just moves around and around but you can't ride it. It's only available in 2010 for riding... wtf? What's the point of plugging it in and wasting electricity if you can only watch it and not touch it???

So on to the Brooklyn Flea right under the bridge. They sold a lot of old things for 30 bucks+. So defeated the idea of a flea market, because everything is supposed to be CHEAP. I could've gotten some of these things at Urban Outfitters for the same price at brand new! And it might've even been on sale for fuck's sake.

Whatever! On our next stop, we ventured into Manhattan from Brooklyn in order to get back into a different part of Brooklyn. Enough said.

33 minutes of squishing against sweaty armpits and inhaling each other's exhales, we finally got let into the gates to the Pool Party where Girl Talk was playing. Once the rain started sprinkling and we started dancing around, it was all worth it. He was not bad at all.

All on a Sunday.
